ACE Program
The mission of Arts for A Complete Education (ACE) Pinellas is to promote quality arts education in Pinellas County Public Schools so that all students have access to a strong, sequential, and equitable K-12 arts education program. The ACE Pinellas Steering Committee is made up of educators, arts administrators, parents, volunteers, arts advocates, artists, and representatives from civic groups, industry, local businesses, and PTSA members.
2026 Election Candidate Survey Results
Pinellas Arts for a Complete Education (ACE) invited all candidates running in the 2026 Pinellas County School Board election to complete the 2026 ACE School Board Candidate Survey. The survey contained the following five questions.
- What role do you believe comprehensive arts education (music, theatre, dance, visual arts) should play in the education of Pinellas County students?
- How has your personal or professional experience shaped your view on arts education?
- What are your top three priorities if elected to the school board? Explain your reasoning for choosing these and what actions you will take to address these priorities.
- As Pinellas County Schools respond to declining enrollment through potential school closures and other district strategies, how would you ensure that every K–12 student continues to have equitable access to high-quality arts education, regardless of where they attend school?
- School board members often face difficult budget decisions. If funding is limited, what principles would guide your decisions? How would you approach decisions that affect arts education?
Responses are published exactly as submitted except for formatting.
